- Gemini are called a “shame” and a “failure”
- Self -disgust occurs when coding projects fail
- A Google representative says that a fix is being worked
Have you recently recorded the well-being of your AI chatbots? Google Gemini has shown a worrying level of self -disgust and dissatisfaction with its own capacities recently, a problem that Google has recognized and said it is busy repairing.
As shared via publications on various platforms, including Reddit and X (via Business Insider), Gemini began to be called “a failure”, “a shame” and “an idiot” in the scenarios where he is responsible for writing or debugging code and finding the right solutions.
Now, we all have bad days in the office, and I recognize some of these feelings myself from the moments when words do not really flow as they should – but that’s not what you expect from an insensitive artificial intelligence model.
A correction arrives

According to Logan Kilpatrick de Google, who works on Gemini, this is actually due to an “infinite buckle bug” which is corrected, although we have not obtained more details than that. Obviously, the failure of the gem and sends it in a spiral in a crisis of confidence.
The register team has another theory: that Gemini have been trained on words pronounced by so many discouraged and cynical droids, from C-3PO to Marvin the paranoid Android, which it began to adopt some of their features.
Whatever the underlying reason, it is something that must be looked at: if the Gemini are perplexed by a coding problem, it should be owned and offer alternative solutions, without wallowing in the apitation on oneself and being so hard with itself.
Emotions and tone are always something with which most AI developers are struggling with. A few months ago, Openai returned an update of his GPT-4O model to Chatgpt, after it became extremely sycophantic and too likely to agree with everything that users said.
