Although United Airlines does not deploy an experience in flight, it is sort of the following best. Thanks to a new partnership with Apple TV + – one of the best streaming services around – you can watch Breakup,, Among other shows, while flying at around 30,000 feet.
Joining the entertainment experience in constant expansion flight on United Airlines Aircraft is an Apple TV + Originals quartet, and this issue will increase next month in September. When you launch, you can access the episodes of the first season of Breakup,, Contraction,, Ted Lasso,, Slow horses And Silo On the screen in front of your chair or via the United flight app.
Next month, September 2025, United will add the first season of The morning show And Bad sisters. United operates a wide range of aircraft and somewhere around 130,000 screens integrated into the back of the seats. Even if it is a massive number and the more recent planes will enlarge it, it is pleasant to see United also offer this new Apple TV + content via the application.
People potentially travel on plans without screens, but with Wi-Fi connectivity, will have the same access to the content library. Although this is not the first time that Apple TV + has been in the sky – some of its originals are available on American Airlines and Air Canada – addition is a big problem for United Airlines, and this is the first time that full service seasons have been available. The frequent flyers of United will appreciate it.
The airline has promised to add new episodes and develop to other programs, films and documentaries on a monthly basis. The Apple TV + originals join a table of other content and even access to popular podcasts, audio books and reading lists available on Spotify.
Add emissions like Breakup So much meaning, because Apple TV + has an incredibly solid year and the streaming service obtained a record appointment of 81 Emmy Award. So, if you have not yet seen a dismissal and you have a few hours, you must fill out during a United flight, you can now expire the first season – or see it – from the comfort of your headquarters.
It will be interesting to see if United Airlines can conclude a similar agreement with any other streaming service or if other airlines opt to add Apple TV +. Recently, Delta Airlines announced a collaboration with Crunchyroll to broadcast selected flight anime.
This expansion for United Airlines comes with both a stronger concentration on the flight experience – the airline is also installing Wi -Fi powered by Starlink, faster and completely free for the members of MileagePlus aboard its planes. It is a longer deployment, but the promise is much faster speeds, allowing passengers to disseminate their own content and additional improvements to the flight experience.
We are still waiting to see the whole vision of the latter, but the expansion to include the popular Apple TV + originals is certainly a step in the right direction. At least, Innie will appreciate the expansion and your exit will like the destination … or vice versa.
