Prince Harry’s potential participation in the upcoming marriage of Peter Phillips aroused a lot of speculation, the expert saying that he would steal the spotlight.
Speak with Royal Insider, Expert Royal Grant Harrold said he thought there was a good chance that the Duke of Sussex was invited because of his historically close relationship with Peter.
However, Harrold, who worked in close collaboration with King Charles, warned that the presence of Harry could involuntarily eclipse the marriage itself, taking into account the current tensions within the royal family and the attention of the media that follows it.
“There is a good chance that Harry will be invited, given his historically close relationship with Peter,” said Harrold, adding, “however, there is another question entirely.”
“His presence could involuntarily inhabit marriage due to current tensions within the royal family and the installation of the media that follows it,” he continued.
“If it is possible that he does not assume a major role in the ceremony, like Best Man or Usher, his presence alone could divert the attention of the couple and on Royal Dynamics.
“Given the current climate, there is a real risk that its presence can become the title rather than marriage itself,” he added.
“I think Peter is obviously aware of it and will probably invite him anyway; He may just not play a huge role. ”
