- iOS 26 beta 6 is available for developers
- There are changes in the liquid glass and the application of the camera
- There are also 7 new ringtones
Apple continues to postpone beta updates for its iOS 26 software before a complete launch later this year, and the latest beta 6 version for developers brings with it a certain number of interesting modifications – including one that I am particularly eager to try.
As Techcrunch and others reported, iOS 26 is more snapputu than ever, with the launch application and changing significantly faster – a safe sign that Apple continues to optimize software before it is deployed to millions of iPhones.
There are also more changes to the liquid glass here (via MacRumors), with more transparency on the locking screen and a more 3D look with the clock of the lock screen. Apple also seems to have done more work to improve the readability of the text with the effect of liquid glass.
Apple also brought back the previous slip direction for the modes on the camera screen, so it is a lot as you were with this – there are a few beta, it reversed the sliding direction for an unknown reason, which has spoiled the muscle memory of the majority of users.
Ringtates added

There is also a new improved integration process for users here, which will help explain all the changes when iOS 26 will take place on the masses (probably in September, with the iPhone 17 series). Note, however, that this is the beta developer, and you will not yet see these changes if you are in the beta public program.
What fascinates me the most, however, are the seven new ringtones that Apple added, giving you even more choice for incoming calls. In addition to a few variations neat on the default reflection ringtone, there is also a whole new called Little Bird.
I have already given him listening to him, and it is a yellow number that mixes the synth and the whistling sounds with an interesting effect. I also like the new reflection, which seems familiar, but which each has a new new sound in layers on the top.
I may open myself to ridicule by being enthusiastic about the new ringtones, but these are sounds that I hear every day, and the new ones are always welcome – it’s been a few years now that Apple has treated us with new variations.
