- A collection of new DJI mini 5 processes disclosed has been published
- The “C0” sticker suggests that it will be the first drone of less than 249g with a 1 inch sensor
- The battery seems to be the same as that used by DJI Mini 4 Pro and Mini 3 Pro
A new set of photos disclosed to the DJI Mini 5 Pro has arrived, bringing with them a lot of new information on the next ultra-light drone.
Following the disclosed rendering and specifications that emerged earlier this month, this set of photos, shared on X (formerly Twitter) and Dronexl by the Tired Drone Tipster Jasper Ellens, seem to show the drone itself under a variety of angles.
Some new exclusive photos of my friends today. Revealing several secrets on the # mini5Pro. It seems that Dji has managed to remove the unthinkable: a camera drone of less than 249 grams # C0 1 ince. They actually did it! Cheers jasperhttps: //t.co/oouwzgulgcAugust 13, 2025
These new views of the DJI Mini 5 Pro seem to reveal some key details on the drone, such as the fact that it will use exactly the same batteries as the Mini 4 Pro and Mini 3 Pro – Excellent news for people who already have one or both of these models.
More exciting, however, is the presence of a “C0” class sticker at the bottom of the drone. Assuming that this is real, it is confirmation that the mini 5 will always weigh less than 250 g.
Although this cannot be called surprising news – after all, the weight of the 250G has long been one of the main arguments for the sale of the mini -series – it is great to see that the new alleged features of the mini 5 pro like Lidar and a camera with a 1 inch sensor did not inform it in class C1.
Personally, I see a 1 inch sensor on a drone of less than 250g as a huge success for Dji; Having Dji Air-Levels of Imaging Performance on a drone that can be transported with much less stories, at least here in the United Kingdom where I live, in fact a really exciting perspective.
If the disclosed information proves to be correct, I can certainly see the DJI Mini 5 Pro being my next essential drone for daily aerial photography and videography.
Secret button?
A final detail intriguing new leaks is the presence of what looks like a small button on the side of the drone.
What it might do is a mystery, but a potential theory is that it will launch the drone when there is no controller. This could give it selfie shooting capacities similar to DJI Flip or DJI Neo, allowing users to unfold it, launch it with their hand to take a clip or a quick photo before turning it automatically – no controller or even smartphone required.
With this latest information added to what we have already heard, we can now create a fairly clear image of how the Mini 5 Pro could look like specifications.
- DJI Mini 5 PRO Rumor Specifications
- 1 inch image sensor supported up to 4k 120fps video
- 24 mm lens with f / 1.8 opening
- 48 mm serial taking of medium telephoto lens
- Pipeau supporting the 225 ° movement, including vertical shot
- Lidar and omnidirectional infrared vision sensors
- 36 -minute battery life
It is an impressive set of specifications for a small folding drone, and I look forward to obtaining a confirmation when Dji finally arrives to officially launch the mini 5 pro.
Rumor says that this will happen in September 2025, which is closer and closer. Come back for more news in the coming weeks.
