- HTC has a new pair of smart glasses called Vive Eagle
- They have several of the same characteristics as their rivals
- You can only get them to Taiwan now
HTC has just announced a new vive laptop, but it’s not another VR helmet – but it’s a pair of elegant AI glasses called Vive Eagle. And I feel twinges of jealousy towards all those who can get a pair.
It is because these smart specifications could fight against the Meta Ray-Ban intelligent glasses that I learned to love (as well as the new Oakley HSTN specifications that take the Raybans and improve them better).
Regarding the equipment, Vive will beat for Beat with the competition. It has a living room of 12 MP as well as open speakers, and a solid battery life for up to 36 hours of emergency time and 4.5 hours of musical reading while offering an elegant design of 49g.
Where I think he really shines, it’s his ai.
Indeed, although the Vive assistant can help you with tasks, he can also team up with your choice of chatgpt or Google Gemini rather than locking you in a service – like the way Meta glasses depend entirely on Meta AI.
As we expect to expect the companions of AI, Vive also indicates that “all user data is stored locally” on its glasses, which means that it is not used for the formation of models. When you use third -party IA services, your data is also anonymized to provide improved confidentiality.
Rounding AI upgrades, Vive specifications are better with languages. The Meta AI currently allows its intelligent specifications to translate between English, French, Spanish, Italian and German, during this time, Vive’s assistant supports Arabic, traditional Chinese, English, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, Thai and Turk.
And I cannot ignore the striking design of the eagle. I am boring enough to want to catch the translucent black pair, but the slightly see through the red Berry, the bluish gray and the coffee brown are all magnificent and each clearly highlights the mixture of specifications mode and technology.
Although with a Wayfarer-shaped shape, these glasses may not create enough of their own personality from the point of view of the silhouette.
Unfortunately, they will not be easy to get their hands.
First, Vive Eagle’s specifications are currently exclusive to Taiwan. More specifically, you can find them in the Premium 2020EYEHAUS glasses locations and designated Taiwan OP OP experience stores.
Second, they are more expensive than some of their rivals, such as meta-rays and their new Oakleys collaboration.
Viva glasses are currently in pre-order, and when they are launched on September 1, they will cost $ 15,600 NT (New Taiwan Dollars).
This amounts to approximately $ 520 / £ 385 / $ 795 at – which is higher than the most expensive meta -rays at $ 379 / £ 379 / $ 539 in, and smart glasses of $ 499 / £ 499 / at $ 789 more £ more).
I will have to try the Vive Eagle glasses before making a judgment, but there is apparently a lot to love here, and as the AI glasses competition warms up – with a promising meta connect of new generation specifications, and Android XR due next year – Eagle’s Wearable de Vive is a welcome addition that I look forward to seeing more.
