Prosecutors will not ask for accusations against the recruit of Cleveland Brownson Judkins, confirmed the office of the state prosecutor.
The former Ballon carrier of Ohio State had faced a load of offense after an incident in Florida.
The accusations were abandoned after the prosecutors examined the police reports, the supervisory video, the telephone files and other documents. A woman involved in the dispute submitted a statement under oath, according to a memorandum obtained by ESPN.

Judkins was placed in police custody in Fort Lauderdale on July 12. An arrest report said the incident occurred five days before the arrest.
Judkins became frustrated after seeing SMS sent by members of his family, according to the report. The player was accused of hitting a woman with a closed fist near his chin. Judkins would have led to a car that left Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood international airport at the time of the alleged incident.

The woman was also struck in her thigh and arm. The officers were shown photos of bruises, noted the incident report.
“This incident was not captured on any video surveillance,” said the memorandum. “There are no independent witnesses of the incident. Although the victim had photos showing injuries suffered, there were also videos in the same period of time when no injury was observed in the victim. In addition, the victim’s injuries represented in the photos could be explained by one or the other incident account.

“Finally, there was a delayed report of the incident. The delay is problematic because the victim was alone on numerous occasions without the defendant, had the capacity and the resources to report his knowledge, but chose not to do so. For the reasons set out above, there is no reasonable probability of conviction and this case is being refused.”

The NFL has monitored “developments in this area, which remains under examination,” said a spokesperson for the League.
The Browns selected Judkins in the second round of the NFL draft this year. He remained unclear as his legal situation developed.
