Pakistan, KSA Ink $ 121 million offers for health, energy projects

Saudi ambassador, Nawaf Bin, said that Al-Malki had reaffirmed Riyadh’s unshakable support on Friday in the development course of Pakistan.

Speaking during a ceremony marking the signing of consulting services contracts to support development projects in Pakistan – funded by the Saudi Development Fund (SFD) – Al -Malki said that projects would provide vital services, stimulate economic growth and contribute to the well -being of Pakistanis.

SAUDI Fund for Development (SFD) has signed consulting contracts for three major projects in Pakistan – King Salman Hospital in Tarlai and Hydroelectric projects in Shounter and Jagran in Azad Jammu- & Cachemir – with a set of combined funding worth $ 121 million.

King Salman Hospital will be funded by a subsidy of $ 20 million in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while SHOUTER and Jagran hydroelectric projects will receive concessional loans of $ 66 million and $ 35 million respectively.
