There are many rumors and leaks from the iPhone 17 to follow for the moment, and the last people to attract our attention apparently revealed some details on the most expensive models arriving next month: the iPhone 17 pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
First of all, the Tieptor Majin BU (via GSMARENA) published some photos that censively show the slit of the SIM card for the iPhone 17 Pro. Although iPhones have only become ESIM in the United States, this is not the case on international markets, and it seems that this is not the case either with the 2025 handsets.
Then, we have images supposed to show the interns of the iPhone 17 Pro Max of the well -known Eyes leak1122 (via WCCFTECH). We can see the same battery design covered with metal used in the iPhone 16 Pro from last year, which improves thermal management, and the largest camera module that has already been supposed.
Two different battery shape designs should also be noted, which are probably for iPhones with and without physical SIM card. It is a sign of the accommodation that Apple must make for its phones on different markets around the world.
Camera upgrades
Perhaps the most exciting leak in the last batch comes from another experienced prediction, Setsuna Digital (via Notebookcheck), which suggests that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will come with the most powerful telephoto camera that we have seen.
It is not clear if it means the most powerful telephoto lens in the iPhone series or in smartphones in general, but it is a promising potential upgrade anyway. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is equipped with a 48MP Triple-Lens camera + 48MP + 12MP at the rear, with a 5x optical zoom with the kind authorization of the telephoto lens.
We do not know how optical zoom or the number of megapixels could be upgraded this year, but there has already been a question of 8x optical zoom this year, which is part of the reason for the overhaul of the rear of the case that we expect. Apple could also unveil a proline camera application next to new phones.
We should not have too much time to wait to see how precise these leaks are or otherwise: if Apple sticks to its usual schedule, the iPhone 17 series will be announced in September, with Tuesday September 9 the day and the probable date.
