Hyderabad:
The frantic trees cutting activity in the areas of the Dadu district river bed caused a manifestation of citizens who gathered on the road to Dadu-Johi to record their complaint. Lawyers, journalists, political activists and workers from non -governmental organizations participated in the demonstration.
Lawyer Muhammad Yaqoob Rustamani said that an uncontrolled and unauthorized trees cutting activity was underway in Kaacho. “The mafia cuts wood without fear for monetary gains and the government’s representatives concerned are spectfully spectunately spent on.”
The demonstrations alleged that more than 100 trees had been cut off from this area and transported through the roads of the city to different destinations.
The poet Khalil Soomro and other participants also accused the police of not even having taken the trouble to prevent vehicles from carrying trees from their district.
The demonstrators demanded that the Sindh government be stopped this activity, but the people involved in the illegal cup should also be brought to the book.
