In another accident of a stripping truck in the District of Ththa, two men and a child leading on a motorcycle were killed on Sunday on the Thista-Sujawal road. The deceased, Irshad Shah, Karo Aijaz Shah and Shahnaz, daughter of Ameer Shah, were residents of Bulri Shah Kareem Taluka by Tando Muhammad Khan District. The truck crossed the motorcycle, completely destroying the two-wheelers.
It was the second identical incident in about a week because a truck of hardness had run more than three young men on the same road, killing them all. Muhammad Bux Khoso, a local resident who led a demonstration after the accident, told the police and the media that the beginner’s driver had escaped his vehicle after hitting the motorcycle.
However, he added that local men on several motorcycles chased the truck, stopped it and caught his driver, identified as Maila Marwat Khan, who was then given to the police. Police seized the truck and arrested the suspect, but the fir of the incident could not be recorded by the evening. The bodies were transferred to the Makli government hospital for the autopsy. The demonstrators accused the police of having authorized the trucks and their unruly drivers to browse the city while putting the lives of citizens in danger.
