The West team joined a 4-0 deficit to win 9-4 during the Eastern team in the classic All-American of Dick’s Perfect All-American Sunday at Petco Park.
Cole Prosek, 18, was appointed MVP of the game for his performance in the return victory.
The western team scored five points at the end of the fifth round to erase a deficit of 4-0, and Prosek was in the middle of the return. Prosek tore a simple RBI during the rally and was part of the double key switch that equaled the game.

In the seventh round, with the western team in advance of 5-4, Prosek had another simple RBI to extend the advance of his team.
Prosek is currently senior in the Magnolia Heights High School in Senatobia, Mississippi, and is committed to playing university baseball in Ole Miss. He is also eligible for the MLB recovery next year.
“Playing in this match was a huge goal, one of the biggest goals I have ever had,” said Prosek, via a perfect match after the match. “It was an incredible feeling to be selected. Waiting for this call is a bit anxious, but it’s great when you get it.
“It was simply incredible to be here and play with all these great players and great friends.”

The classic All-American de Perfect Game presents the 60 best secondary baseball players across North America and offers them a platform to present their talents on a national scene, an event whose best players in the country hope to be part.
“It’s great,” said Prosek about his MVP trophy. “I will certainly put this in my room. This is one of the best feelings I have ever had in baseball.”
The American classic made its debut in 2003, and since its creation, the game has seen some of the biggest names in the Major Baseball League game in the event. Bryce Harper, Gunnar Henderson, Bobby Witt. Jr, Gerrit Cole and Francisco Lindor are among the star players who have played in the game over the years.
Of the 1,126 players who participated in the event in the past 22 years, 850 have been written and 293 players were made in the first round.

This year’s match was managed by the reproductive temple of Baseball Trevor Hoffman and the former All-Star of San Diego Padres Ryan Klesko.
Their coach staff consisting of Padres All-Stars Phil Nevin and Mark Loretta, manager of the World Series Charlie Manuel, winner of 20 Scott Erickson, 1995 Al MVP Mo Vaughn, 7 times All-Star Alfonso Soriano, 3 times All-Star Tom “Flash” Gordon, Jose Contreras and Mlb Veterans and Jason Countey.
The director general of the Padres, AJ PRELLER, was one of the scouts and leaders of the whole league, to look at the window of the best players in the country.
