Two stars, one of a experienced veteran and the other of a number one choice, had a heated fight during a practice of Tennessee burning on Monday.
The quarter-Arrière Cam Ward, the first overall choice of the draft of the NFL 2025 and the defensive platform Jeffery Simmons were spotted to enter after a late game in practice.
Ward launched a touch to the Large Calvin Ridley receiver, and while he was going to celebrate, he stopped in front of Simmons to tease him with his celebration of “Zombieland” – something that Simmons is known after making large defensive pieces.

Simmons did not like it at all, pushing Ward in the face mask with both hands.
This sparked the titans offensive line to rush quickly to protect their quarter-back, including the left platform Dan Moore Jr.

“Absolutely not,” said Moore when he was asked if someone was allowed to touch the quarter-Arrière, by ESPN. “It goes without saying.”
The two players were finally separated. Simmons lost his helmet during the physical altercation and left the field, while Ward then executed the next game.
Titans’ head coach Brian Callahan did not let him slide. After training, he run the whole team in the heat at 96 degrees.
“You get the same attitude, confidence, the same side every day of these two guys,” said Coin Demi Jarvis Brownlee Jr. after training. “This is what you are waiting for. But when it happens with the quarter-tree, you have to break it as soon as possible. But the brothers are fighting.”

There had been a tension building earlier, because Ward and the right platform JC Latham launched with Simmons after a short-cut touch by the ball carrier Julius Chestnut. Simmons spoke of the bin to the offensive, and Ward and Latham recovered from the group.
Ward then launched the touch to Ridley and decided to advance the rivalry, which led to the confrontation.
While a competitive advantage – even among the teammates – is encouraged in the NFL training camps, no one wants to see the quarter -back involved in physical altercations. Simmons, however, was not going to let Ward make fun of him with his own celebration, although the titans clearly want to trace a line with these confrontations.
“You never want to see your quarterrier in the middle of this kind of thing,” added Brownlee. “But when it happens, it shows you the kind of dog he has in him. He’s going to take anything.”

Ward, who only made 2 out of 7 for 42 yards in his second pre-season match during the weekend, will have a final update against the Vikings of Minnesota Friday before its regular season debut against the Denver Broncos on September 7.
