Microsoft makes changes to the way in which the videoconference platform of its teams deals with potentially malicious file types in order to reduce malware and files based on files, by blocking messages containing dangerous file types such as executables.
In the future, Microsoft teams will also warn detection and warn users of malware in cats and chains, in the hope of reducing the malicious useful loads delivered from online sites.
The two updates were revealed in the entrances to the roadmap (499892 and 499893) and are on the right track for a deployment of September 2025.
Teams make changes to protect users from attacks
