On Sunday, there was a notable rush on the hairdressing salons for Eidul Fitr. People of all ages visited salons to improve their appearance with haircuts and various types of facial and massage, men also opting for the cut and shaving the beard. The owner of a local hair salon, Muhammad Saif, said that Eid was a festive opportunity to which people of all ages flock to salons in order to improve their facial beauty and add a charming touch to their personalities. The elderly opted for simpler haircuts, as well as shaving and beard tops, and some have also dyed their gray hair. Muhammad Saif also explained that haircut, coloring, shaving, beard and facial treatments vary to the other. The haircuts range from RS150 to RS1,000 and more, while the versions of the beard cost between 200 Rs at 500 or more rupees. In addition, coloring can range from RS400 to RS2 000 or more, while facials and massages start from RS500 and can exceed RS3,000. In the middle class areas, cutting, coloring or beard and shaving versions are greater than RS500, while in the poorest districts, these services are available for as low as RS300. The owner also mentioned that many people had made prior reservations, while certain fairs worked on a "First arrival, first served" base. People have even given "Eidi" (Gifts) for good service. A customer of a living room, Fayaz Yusuf, said that a person’s identity is determined not only through their manners, clothes and shoes, but also by their face, which is why people receive haircuts, beard toppings and shaving for a cooler look. The rush continued in the salons late at night, allowing people to finish their preparations before the prayers of Eid. The beauty salons of the metropolitan city make a roaring business while women rush to renovate their choice for Eid-Ul-Fitr, the festival when families come together to celebrate the joyful opportunity. These beauty salons have extended their opening hours to respond to maximum customers to do most of the season. According to a survey carried out by L’Express PK Press Club, young girls go mainly in beauty salons for picking, upper lips, haircuts, high lights, weak lights, French pedicure, manicure, hair dye, hair mask, hairstyle and various hair treatments, while older women prefer different faces and hair colors. Women say that eid preparations seem incomplete without visiting the beauty salon. "In Karachi, the skin becomes rough because of dust and smoke in the environment," Said Ramsha, who was in the Nadoz living room in Dha, so that Hydra facial has talked about Eid well. She adds that women are the center of attention while families and friends meet to celebrate the festival. "I will also have a detoxification for hair for the shine of the hair," said Ramsha.
