Prince Harry corrects mistake before peace with King Charles suffers again

Prince Harry appears to have made an interesting choice of words that appears to have landed him in trouble with his father, King Charles, especially amid talks for a truce.

During his four-day visit to Australia where he made several engagements in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney. Harry spoke about parenting at an event organized by the charity Movember, which appeared to be aimed at lashing out at his cancer-stricken father amid a strained relationship.

Harry had said that as parenting evolved over time, children were an “improvement” on their own parents.

“That doesn’t mean I’ve improved my father or my children have improved me, but the children we raise in today’s world need improvement,” he quickly added.

“There’s no judgment, there’s no blaming, there’s no finger-pointing. The reality is – however you parent – it’s a personal experience for you, you’re going to want to improve it.”

Although there has been a lot of backlash against Harry, royal expert Jennie Bond explained that it is not a “deliberate comparison” between him and King Charles. So he immediately clarified things, “knowing that some might use it as criticism.”

Bond claimed Harry’s language was “a bit awkward” but it was not a snub towards Charles.

“I think he just meant that he wanted to be the best father he could be and equip his children for this modern world that is fast-paced and evolving,” she emphasized.

“It’s pretty much what every parent wants for their offspring, and I think the king would have understood what Harry meant.”
