Bookmakers note that because information is king when it comes to the NFL Draft, it is difficult for them to win the bet.
This also means that analysts and fans who have been paying close attention, or have an inside look, could be in a good position when betting on how many players from each major conference will be selected in the first round.
Let’s take a look at these odds on Draftkings Sportsbook as of April 22.

What you need to know: Depending on the odds, the ACC could only take a handful of players off the board Thursday night. And there are also analyzes that support these probabilities. In his latest mock draft, FOX Sports senior college football analyst Joel Klatt has five ACC players in the first round. On his Miami roster are Francis Mauigoa (No. 4 projected pick), Rueben Bain Jr. (No. 12) and Akheem Mesidor (No. 15). Also from the ACC, he projects two Clemson Tigers – TJ Parker and Blake Miller – to leave the board at 22 and 23, respectively.

Over 5.5: +190 (bet $10 to win $29 total)
Total SEC players selected in the first round
Under 8.5: -185 (bet $10 to win $15.41 total)

What you need to know: In the 2025 NFL Draft, 15 SEC players were selected in the first round. Will the “it just means more” conference continue to reign in the first round in 2026? According to FOX Sports NFL analyst Bucky Brooks, bettors may want to keep their eyes on the Over. He predicts nine SEC players will hear their names called Thursday. This includes Mansoor Delane (LSU), Monroe Freeling (Georgia), Jermod McCoy (Tennessee), Chase Bisontis (Texas A&M), Kadyn Proctor (Alabama), Keldric Faulk (Auburn), Cashius Howell (Texas A&M), Colton Hood (Tennessee) and KC Concepción (Texas A&M).
