Lana Del Rey, the award-winning singer-songwriter, has been announced as the artist behind 007 First Lightthe official theme song of .
Written and composed by Lana Del Rey and David Arnold, “First Light” will set the stage for IO Interactive’s original James Bond story, which will be released next month.
The new song also marks the return of Arnold, the famous composer of the Bond franchise and who has participated in several film scores, including Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day, Casino RoyaleAnd Quantum of comfort.

“James Bond’s music has always been an important part of his identity,” Arnold said in a press release. “A title song should tell us about the world we are about to enter. It should intrigue us, excite us and draw us in. This song joins a long line of genre-defining songs, each creating a style benchmark that adds to the magnificent legacy that is ‘The Bond Song’.”
“That’s why I was so excited to work with Lana, an artist who brought elegance, atmosphere and her own completely unique character to this piece which I hope will open up the world of Bond to a whole new audience.”

While the song and its music video are now available on streaming platforms, the official title sequence will premiere on 007 First Lighton social media today at 8pm BST / 12pm PST.

007 First Light is set to launch on May 27 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but the Nintendo Switch 2 version has been delayed.
