Trust and loyalty were two of the major themes of “Monday Night Raw.”
No one on the WWE Raw roster trusts Seth Rollins, while Liv Morgan questioned Roxanne Perez’s loyalty after her impromptu encounter with Finn Balor last week.
Let’s start with Rollins.
“The Visionary” broke the trust of many when he aligned with Paul Heyman to topple Roman Reigns and CM Punk in the main event of WrestleMania 41 Night 1 last year. He won the World Heavyweight Championship and brought Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed into his group, The Vision, which later disintegrated under his leadership. Breakker and Reed turned on him as he watched Austin Theory and Logan Paul join the faction before WrestleMania 42 took place.

After Rollins lost to Gunther at WrestleMania 42, he turned his attention to Breakker. And although Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins (the Street Profits) appear to support him, they have made it clear that they have no confidence in him. Trust issues became apparent again after Breakker brutalized Rollins early in the series, then took care of Ford and Dawkins later that night.
Ford and Dawkins jumped Theory and Paul as Theory faced Joe Hendry in a singles match. Breakker handled Ford and Dawkins with relative ease. Rollins came out to save the Street Profits. But as Ford took out Theory and Paul on the outside, Rollins was distracted for a split second. This allowed Breakker to hit another spear on Rollins.
“Tez, thanks for bringing me that second spear, buddy,” Rollins said to Ford from behind.
“Well, Seth, thanks to your past antics with The Vision, no one, no one trusts you,” Ford replied.
“No one trusts me. You don’t trust me. I don’t even know you (pointing to Hendry), you probably don’t trust me,” Rollins responded. “Guess what? I don’t even have confidence in myself. Who cares? We’re in the same fight. You fight the Vision, I fight the Vision. Sometimes these fights will intersect. Here’s the deal, you stay out of my way, I’ll stay out of your way.”
Rollins left with the last word. He will face Bron Breakker at Backlash on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Morgan was putting Perez through his paces. She wanted to make it clear that “The Prodigy” was not going to side with Balor and break up the group even further.
“What was Finn doing in the clubhouse last week? See, I’m not worried about Finn, Roxanne, because JD is going to take care of Finn tonight,” Morgan told Perez. “I’m worried about you. Why did Finn think it was OK to talk to you and why didn’t you tell me and why do I have to watch Netflix to figure out what’s happening on Judgment Day?”
Perez said she didn’t say anything because she “made it very clear” to Balor to remove himself from the clubhouse and not return.

“You’re right, I should have said something. But Liv, you know I’m faithful to Judgment Day,” Perez replied.
Morgan made Perez promise that she would keep “no more secrets from the family.” Perez agreed and repeated what Morgan told him.
Perez then helped Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio distract Balor during his match against McDonagh. It seems Perez has made it clear where his loyalties lie.
Later, Morgan said Rodriguez and Perez would go after Tag Team Champions Brie Bella and Paige next.
Signing of the contract between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu

Roman Reigns was hot entering “Monday Night Raw” after receiving a Tongan death grip from Jacob Fatu to end the show last week.
He didn’t want to hear anything Raw General Manager Adam Pearce had to say. But after Pearce told him that Fatu wasn’t in the building yet, Reigns waited his turn to address the “Samoan werewolf” later that night.
The two met in the ring to sign the contract for their World Heavyweight Championship match at Backlash. Reigns made it clear to Fatu that he was still watching him from a distance as Fatu worked his way to making it to WWE and becoming a main event player.
“I was the one in that company that held the door open for Solo (Sikoa),” he said after Fatu mentioned that it was Sikoa who got him into WWE in the first place. “Solo brought you, huh? Well, guess what, I brought Solo and so, I brought you. And I’ll be damned if there wasn’t some respect on my part in this matter.”

Reigns questioned Fatu’s use of the Tongan death grip, saying Fatu used it as a “desperate” measure.
“You don’t do this to family,” Reigns explained. “You don’t do this to your own leader. You don’t do this to your ‘tribe leader.’
Fatu looked at Reigns before responding.
“Yes, I’m desperate. Yes, I feel like it’s just me against the world. Yes, my back is against the wall. So, I had no choice but to eliminate you, take this title and everything that comes with it,” Fatu explained. “And to keep it at 100, I’m then going to put the brakes on this game and I’m going to take out every dollar and every cent, just like this company has done for our family for decades.”
Fatu said he had no plans to return to where he came from and was more “desperate” than ever to win the world heavyweight championship.
Reigns responded that he wasn’t just concerned about Fatu’s “seven children,” but the generations of their family that came before them and those that will follow.
When Reigns said Fatu was “under” him, Fatu got up and tried to put the Tongan death grip back on Reigns. Reigns threw an office chair at Fatu. As Fatu tried to get the death grip again, Reigns moved away from it. Fatu ended up gaining the advantage in the end, finally snatching Tonga’s death grip from Reigns.
Fatu signed the contract and the match became “official”.

Sol Ruca joins “The Man”
There were a few moments of celebration on “Monday Night Raw” when newcomer Sol Ruca “officially” signed her contract with the Raw brand.
Pearce said he missed the days when he was at NXT and a top prospect was able to sign a contract with one of the major brands. He said “today was one of those days” as he introduced Ruca to the crowd in Omaha, Nebraska.
Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch interrupted the event. She claimed Ruca’s time should have been given to her to celebrate her own greatness and was upset that Pearce scheduled Iyo Sky in a match against her last week.

“Becky, it’s not all about you,” Ruca said. “Everyone knows who you are. I know who you are. I know what you’ve done and I know everything you’ve accomplished. But the thing is, I didn’t expect to find out when I met you that you’re exactly what everyone says you are…a rude, big-headed bitch.”
Lynch was stunned and asked if the crowd would let her talk to him like that. The crowd apparently supported Ruca during the exchange.
“My name is Sol Ruca, and if you ever interrupt me again, not only will I kick your ass, I will rip out your soul,” she added.
Lynch went to punch Ruca, but slapped Pearce instead. Ruca hit Lynch with a Sol Snatcher to end the segment. Lynch appears to have a new challenger for his title.
