The feud between Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) star AJ Francis and KC Navarro will come to a head Thursday night as the two face off in a SacTown Street Fight in Sacramento, California at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium.

Navarro returned from injury to help Nic Nemeth defeat Francis at Rebellion. And since then, the two men have been at loggerheads. Navarro pinned Francis three weeks ago in his first match since July 2025. Ahead of the two-day “Thursday Night Impact” special on AMC, Francis spoke to PK Press Club Digital about his fight with Navarro and made a stark prediction.

“Without me, KC would not have these opportunities,” Francis said. “I saw it in his little interviews, KC came out and said he took the hard hits from me and did all these things for me…The only thing KC did for me was be a shadow. KC learned a lot from me. KC is in this position because of me. KC was just another guy in the back that they had nothing for until I needed someone to stand next to me.

“I’m happy that KC is finally getting the opportunity to show what he can bring. But unfortunately for him, he’s doing it against me. And I’m going to beat him within an inch of his life. Every time you give me the opportunity to prove that I’m exactly who I say I am, I always show up. I’m always up to the task. It’s going to be crazy. I’m going to put KC out of his misery. When I’m done with him, he might try to dye his hair green or orange or something else just to wash the stench of that pink off of him.”

Navarro cut a heated promo last week on “Impact,” claiming that Francis took advantage of him. He also said he swore to his “ill” uncle that he would return to the ring as soon as possible after suffering a torn ACL.

But Francis was having none of that.

“You know what’s crazy? All these wrestlers are making all these excuses as to why people should feel sorry for them,” Francis told PK Press Club Digital. “KC is sitting there crying about his sick uncle and Mike Santana is talking about how his dad passed away. My mom died and no one gives a damn. My grandma died and no one gives a damn. My grandpa died, no one gives a damn. My pop-pop died, no one gives a damn. So why do I care about all these losers’ family problems?

“No one cares when I’m going through something, but I’m supposed to care because KC has a sick uncle. I hope his sick uncle has AMC in his hospital so he can watch me beat his nephew within inches of his life.”

Francis added that there was no chance of reconciling with Navarro.

“Not at all. I only wish the worst for KC. I hope that in the future he learns a lesson after that shouting I gave him on Thursday and realizes that he will never upset me again,” he said. “He cost me an opportunity to score one of the biggest wins of my career at Rebellion. He cost me an opportunity to score one of the biggest wins of my career at Slammiversary last year when he got injured and cost us the tag team titles. He cost us an opportunity at the NXT tag team titles because he got injured when we were doing our crossover matches with them.

“He’s been nothing but a disappointment. He lost our only singles tag team title match in his first match with First Class. He’s the one who got pinned and lost for us. He’s been nothing but a disappointment since the day I met him and I’m very happy to be done with him after Thursday.”
