KARACHI: A video has surfaced showing the arrest of suspected drug peddler Anmol alias Pinky, who was arrested by police officers in Karachi for his alleged involvement in drug trafficking.
The video showed police officers arriving at an apartment and knocking on the apartment door, which was opened by Anmol alias Pinky herself before the police officers entered the premises.
The footage further showed a female police officer taking Pinky’s cell phone immediately after entering the apartment, before officers began searching the apartment during the search.
Earlier today, the arrested woman was produced before the South Magistrate’s Court, where the court approved a three-day remand for further investigation into the case.
Police sources said PK Press Club News that investigators had also compiled details of previous cases registered against Anmol alias Pinky in connection with alleged drug offenses committed in recent years.
Investigators informed the court that 1,540 grams of cocaine and 6,970 grams of raw materials were seized during the arrest operation.
According to police officials, the suspect allegedly operated a drug supply network in Karachi, while cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act were registered against her between 2021 and 2024.

Police initially failed to secure pre-trial detention after the court remanded the suspect in custody until May 25 during earlier proceedings in the case.
However, investigators later filed a new plea in court, arguing that the detention was necessary to trace the source of the cocaine supply, investigate the suspect’s financial network and check her criminal history.
The court then accepted the investigators’ request and approved a three-day remand for Pinky to facilitate further investigation.
