The released dispatch audio added some context to the alleged domestic violence incident involving Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs, one of which came from his Wisconsin home.

The audio, obtained by TMJ 4, reveals a dispatcher speaking with a police officer about the “yelling and screaming” she could hear on an open line at Jacobs’ home.

“Throwed objects, open line,” the dispatcher told the officer. “…Maybe a male and a female.”

Then audio from a second call was added, as a dispatcher describes a neighbor calling about what he can hear from Jacobs’ house.

“The neighbor is now calling to say her neighbor was attacked,” the report said.

When authorities arrived at Jacobs’ residence, he was not there. He left the scene in his Mercedes G-Wagon, although police followed their license plate readers. A call was made to stop the vehicle if it was seen on the road.

Jacobs was arrested Tuesday following an investigation by the Hobart-Lawrence Police Department, and he was charged with five domestic violence-related charges.

The department said in the release that Jacobs was booked into the Brown County Jail on charges of domestic violence, criminal damage to property, domestic violence, disorderly conduct, strangulation and suffocation, and intimidation of a victim. According to Brown County Jail records, strangulation and suffocation are a felony, while the other four are misdemeanors.

The investigation remains active and ongoing, the press release added.

Jacobs’ attorneys, David Z. Chesnoff and Clarence Duchac, say the 28-year-old denies all charges.

“Josh vehemently denies these allegations, and this matter is in the early stages of investigation with significant evidence that has not yet been made public,” the attorneys’ statement said.

“We ask for fairness and restraint while the legal process takes its course.”

The NFL was informed of the situation and contacted the Packers. Green Bay also told The Athletic it would not comment due to the ongoing investigation into the matter.
