Novak Djokovic may have been enjoying the start of his third-round match against Brazilian Joao Fonseca, but that changed when a French Open cameraman got too close for his liking.

A photo during the match went viral when Djokovic attacked the cameraman who was right in front of the tennis star between sets at the Philippe-Chatrier court in Paris on Friday during the French Open match.

The cameraman decided to step in for a close-up after Djokovic won his second straight set against 19-year-old Fonseca 6-4, but the Serbian legend was quick to stop him.

“Can you come in front of me more?” Djokovic was heard saying sarcastically. “For God’s sake, make room.”

Djokovic also raised his hands while shouting, and the cameraman was quickly forced to give him more space.

TNT Sports commentator Nick Mullins said he saw an assistant referee walk towards the cameraman to also implore him not to get so close.

“That cameraman has now been replaced. There’s a new one,” Mullins said.

Even though Djokovic was frustrated with the cameraman at the time, everything was going well in his third round match. He needed to defeat Fonseca in an extra set to consolidate in the round of 16.

That’s not what happened for the 24-time Grand Slam champion.

Djokovic was shocked by Fonseca, who rallied to win the next three sets and eventually toppled the Serb, 4-6, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5, 7-5. The Brazilian phenomenon is ranked No. 28 in the world, but Djokovic, at 39, is still No. 3 in men’s singles.

It was the first time either tennis player had competed against each other, but the 19-year-old proved why he is one of the rising stars of the game today.
