NYT Strands today (game #825) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #825, are…
- MARRIAGE
- WEDDING
- MARRIAGE
- WISHES
- MARRIAGE
- SPANGRAM: TYING THE KNOT
- My rating: Easy
- My rating: Perfect
With the exception of a spangram that started and ended on the same side of the grid, it was a simple game to unravel.
Like many, I think my first thought was MARRIAGE and that was an easy place on the board to find the double R.
NUPTIALS is a word I’ve never given much thought to, but it’s a good word to describe all the overall (and expensive) chaos of a wedding day – and it’s also in the least romantic document a couple about to get married can sign, the prenup.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Friday June 5, Match #824)

- FIGHT
- SKIRMISH
- SHOCK
- FIGHT
- MELEE
