Morgan Wallen responds to ‘absurd’ rumors: ‘Simply false’

Morgan Wallen addresses concert cancellation

Morgan Wallen is fighting back against online speculation after abruptly canceling a concert in Pittsburgh.

Days after going viral for knocking over a piano during a performance in Colorado, the country star insisted there was no hidden reason behind the decision, insisting safety concerns over severe weather forecasts were the only factor.

According to Wallen, local officials and his team advised him to cancel the June 6 show at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh due to expected high winds and storms.

“The truth is that I have a big scene that, under these conditions, could become fatal for many people around it,” he explained in a video shared in his Instagram stories. “I did the best I could with the information I had at the time. I saw a lot of nonsense about me that just isn’t true, and I just wanted to clear the air.”

The Grammy winner added that he believes his loyal fans understand that safety must come first.

“I think my real fans know that’s not how I generally operate,” he said.
