Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian made their most public display of affection yet, with the Formula 1 star seeking out his girlfriend in the crowd at the Monaco Grand Prix for a kiss on the cheek.
A clip shared on social media on Sunday, June 7, showed Hamilton, 41, walking over to where Kardashian, 45, was watching the race, greeting her with a kiss before hugging her and walking away.
Kardashian had swapped yesterday’s lace corset and bootcut jeans for an asymmetrical dress, oversized sunglasses and an updo, looking every bit the regular at the Monaco paddock.
The Monaco appearance came just days after Kardashian officially initiated the relationship on Instagram.
On June 1, she posted a series of images from a bike ride with Hamilton, captioning them simply: “Lately.” The low-key legend has done a lot of work.
Us every week confirmed that the pair were romantically involved in February, with sources describing the relationship as “casual” at the time and noting that Kardashian had felt ready to start dating again after a rocky few years.
Later that month, a second source told a rather different story, that Hamilton was “head over heels in love” and that those close to him believed he had “finally met his match.”
The source added: “He’s waited over a decade for the girl of his dreams and he’s crazy about her.”
The couple reportedly regularly FaceTime between Hamilton’s racing commitments, and sources close to them describe them as “very committed to making things work, no matter the length of the distance or their activity level.”
The fact that the relationship began as a friendship is seen by those around him as a good sign of its longevity.
“Because their relationship started as a friendship, those close to them believe this could be the end game for both of them,” a close source said.
Earlier signs of the romance had been visible in April, when Hamilton posted an Instagram Story of himself stopping a Ferrari with Kardashian in the passenger seat.
“Here we go again. TOKYO DRIFT VOL. III,” he captioned it, adding, “The wait is over.”
Kardashian was previously married to Kanye West from 2014 to 2022, with whom she shares four children, North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 6.
