Bitcoin shoots higher on Iran peace deal, with Strait of Hormuz opening

The United States and Iran said they had reached an interim agreement to end hostilities and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, with the agreement expected to be signed in Switzerland on Friday.

The price of Bitcoin reached $65,700, up 2% in the past 24 hours, and its highest level since the early June plunge.

The price of WTI crude oil plunged nearly 5% to just under $81 a barrel, its lowest level in about two months.

Nasdaq 100 futures are up 1.5% and S&P 500 futures are up 0.9%.
