Here’s what you need to know about the odds table:
The favorite
Alex Palou is the first favorite before Road America. Over the season, the reigning INDYCAR champion has four victories, five poles and occupies first place in the standings with 342 points. He won this race in 2025 after leading just six laps. Even with his disastrous result two weeks ago at Gateway, he still holds the top spot in Bob Pockrass’ most recent power rankings.
One to watch

Kyle Kirkwood is certainly one to watch at Road America, as he sits second in the standings behind Alex Palou. In fact, he’s only 49 points behind the first-place champion. Although he hasn’t won any poles in 2026, he has one victory under his belt, which was the inaugural Arlington Grand Prix in March. At Road America last year, he narrowly missed the podium, finishing fourth behind Palou, Rosenqvist and Ferrucci.
