People tend to be more honest late at night.
On this subject, Zlatan Ibrahimović, FOX Sports football analyst and global football icon, took a lie detector test during an appearance on FOX’s “After Hours with James Corden”.
What could possibly go wrong here, right?
The lie detector test determined that Ibrahimović lied about being “the most handsome man” to ever participate in the FIFA World Cup, that his “self-confidence is a mask” for his true character, and that he respected “the opinions of all” FOX Sports analysts.
Do you hear that, Alexi Lalas and Thierry Henry? Ibrahimović does not respect your opinions! By the way, that’s not the only stray thing Henry captured.
What did Ibrahimović tell the truth about? Well, a lot. For starters, he claimed that a FOX Sports soccer panel made up of four Zlatans would be better than a panel made up of Lalas, Henry, Rebecca Lowe and himself. As for his playing career, Ibrahimović believes he is a better player than Henry (another stray looms for him), Norwegian star Erling Haaland and England star Harry Kane.
Meanwhile, Ibrahimović doesn’t tip 20% in the United States, didn’t Google himself last week and admitted he hasn’t gotten over a 2010 feud with his former manager, Pep Guardiola. On a nice note, he really enjoyed playing in MLS with the LA Galaxy from 2018-2019.
And, to welcome the deal, Ibrahimović admitted that being on air with Corden was “below” him.
Of course, Henry, Lalas and Lowe themselves were able to react to Ibrahimović’s shots, with the Swedish legend joking that it was “all love”.
“Rebecca, you look great. Thierry, you look elegant, Sir. Alexi… we can discuss it,” Ibrahimović joked.
Lowe wasn’t going to let Ibrahimović get away with it that easily. She put Ibrahimović’s skills to the test by having him start an ad break.
