Daveigh Chase, best known for playing Samara Morgan in the horror film The ringdied at the age of 35 from complications related to meningitis and sepsis.

Chase rose to fame in 2002 after playing Samara Morgan in The Ring, a horror film that became one of the most successful films of the genre.
