Vodafone’s mobile network went down just before 8am AEST this morning, affecting not only its direct customers, but potentially even those of MVNOs on its network, such as TPG and Lebara users. This means the current outage could affect millions of customers, although Vodafone has confirmed it is “investigating urgently”.
There are currently no updates on the Vodafone website, even its network health checker is throwing errors.
According to DownDetect, there were more than 8,000 complaints as of 9am AEST this morning, but this figure has since declined, although there was a slight increase again at 11am AEST.
