Meghan Markle holds her breath as meeting with King Charles is planned after years apart.
The Duchess of Sussex, alongside her children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are expected to arrive in the UK but will not take part in Prince Harry’s Invictus Games.
The reason for the trip is to finally allow Archie and Lilibet to meet and get to know their grandfather, King Charles.
However, Woman’s Day revealed that Meghan was rather “nervous” about setting foot on British soil after explosive statements against the company, given its image among Brits.
The source said: “Plans are tentatively in place for the whole family to enjoy FaceTime with the king.
“Barring any last minute drama or doubts, this will take place in a private location at some point over the next 48 hours.”
The Duchess of Sussex is trying to stay calm and looking forward to a successful visit to the UK.
“Meghan is understandably nervous, but she is doing everything she can to stay calm and approach the trip with an open mind,” a close source said.
Fans are expecting to see Archie and Lilibet reunite with King Charles after years of family tension.
