Temperatures are gradually increasing in Punjab when drought continues in the province, the meteorological department of Pakistan said on Saturday.
Meteorological experts provide hot and dry conditions to persist over the next three days, with relatively cooler nights providing some respite, Express News reported.
Lahore and other parts of Punjab should see daytime temperatures increase regularly due to prolonged dry time.
The Met Office said that minimum temperatures in Lahore have been recorded around 18 ° C, while the maximum can reach up to 32 ° C.
“The dry time will prevail through Punjab, resulting in a gradual increase in daytime heat,” said the ministry in his last opinion.
Despite the increase in temperature, the nights should remain colder than the day, especially in urban areas where heat accumulation is greater during hours of clarity.
No precipitation was planned during this period, and the public was advisable to take the necessary precautions, especially during peak hours in the afternoon.
In addition, the temperature in Karachi increased to 36.9 ° C Friday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) providing even warmer days, especially during the weekend, Express News reported.
According to the PMD, Saturday and Sunday are probably hot, with maximum temperatures that should cross 37 ° C. Friday, the city experienced an intense sun throughout the day, causing notable heat, especially afternoon hours.
The minimum temperature recorded on Friday morning was 21.1 ° C. However, with wind speeds significantly lower than those that usual, the heat of the afternoon was more pronounced.
The early alert center predicted that the winds in northwest Balutchistan could blow through the city from the end of the morning in the early afternoon in the coming to two days. Sea breeze should resume in the afternoon.
