Sam Menzin is the former deputy director general of the Detroit Tigers after having resigned last Thursday, and now there can be a reason why it happened.
Menzin resigned before the team could dismiss him due to unlined photos of his genitals sent to former team employees, Athletic reported.
The Tigers did not specify why Menzin resigned from his post.

Two former employees told Athletic that Menzin had sent them the images via Snapchat, the Image of Social Media and Video, which allows automatic deleted messages. He did it several times, going back to 2017.
Menzin had said at the point of sale that he returned to New York to manage “certain family problems”, while mentioning that he was looking for a career change.

Tigers have published a statement via the report.
“After being informed of allegations concerning the conduct of Sam Menzin, the club quickly finished an investigation,” the tigers said in the statement. “Before the club could put an end to Mr. Menzin, he resigned. This type of behavior is contrary to our standards and has absolutely no place within our organization. We have a positive and safe culture for our colleagues and will continue to focus on respect, inclusion and professionalism.”

In addition, another woman who worked for MLB – not the Tigers – told athletics that Menzin had also sent her unsolicited messages to her genitals on Snapchat between 2018 and 2019.
Given the period of alleged messages, a woman explained why she had now spoken of Menzin.
“Is it as if nobody said anything because who will believe them when they say that Sam Menzin did this?” The woman said. “It’s not like a bat boy or a security guard. It’s Sam Menzin.”
The woman added that, because there were so few women working in the front office of tigers, “I always felt like something was not an option, because who will believe you and do anything?”

Menzin had been with tigers for 13 years, starting as a baseball operations intern in 2012 and working in the ranks of a solid management position in which he was. He also did an internship with the New York Mets and Turner-Gary Sports.
Mezin did not comment on the allegations.
