President Donald Trump welcomed Los Angeles Dodgers to the White House to celebrate their World Series 2024 championship on New York Yankees.
While Trump boasted the team’s achievements and his star players, he took a little blow to the Boston Red Sox to exchange Mookie Betts in Dodgers before the 2020 season. Since then, the Dodgers have won two World Series titles with Betts in the team and are ready to make it back in 2025.

Trump recognized the agreement that the Dodgers have concluded.
“Mookie Betts, Oh is it good,” said Trump before shaking the star player. “This guy can play, right? I mean, incredible. I don’t want to say that I watched him when he was in Boston, but I did it.
“I didn’t think it was a particularly good job when they did it, and I was right.”
President Trump is a fan of New York Yankees and mentioned as such during his speech. He also talked about the difficulty of sitting next to the deceased owner of the Yankees, George Steinbrenner, during a match.

The Red Sox star, Jarren Duran, is for trying to commit suicide: “ I didn’t even want to be here ”
Boston exchanged Betts and David Price at the Dodgers to throw Downs, Alex Verdugo and Connor Wong on February 10, 2020. Wong is still with the Red Sox, Downs plays in Japan, Verdugo played for Yankees last season and is currently on the list of 40 men of the Braves of Atlanta.
The Red Sox won the World Series for the last time in 2018, with Betts and Price in the team. The former launcher retired from baseball in 2022.

Betts was 1 for 4 with a point produced Monday evening against the Washington Nationals. It strikes. 306 with three circuits so far this year.
