A federal judge said that the Trump administration should raise its freeze on federal financing of Maine.
The decision indicates that the USDA “must immediately thaw and release to the state of the Maine any federal funding that they have frozen or failed or refused to pay because of the alleged state of the state of Maine to comply with the requirements of title IX.”
The administration is also “prohibited to freeze, finish or interfere otherwise with the future federal financing of the state of Maine for alleged violations of title IX without complying with the legally required procedure”.

The USDA announced the freeze of funding and an examination of federal funding in Maine earlier this month after the State has refused to offer equal chances to women and girls in educational programs.

Senator Susan Collins, R-ME, recently called the problems between the administration and its state to be “resolved”, claiming that it would continue to fight for federal state funding while being against transgender athletes in organic sports.
The Ministry of Education also launched a state investigation due to the issue.
