Actress Elsie Kelly, famous for her starring role as viewers’ favorite Noreen in the ITV comedy Benidormbreathed his last at age 89 on April 21, 2026.
Kelly’s death was confirmed by his representative Michelle Skyes on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
Skyes said: “She passed away peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family, on April 21, 2026, aged 89. »

Shortly after news of Kelly’s passing broke, tributes poured in as Benidorm manager Derren Litten wrote a heartfelt tribute.
“So sad to announce the news of the passing of Elsie Kellu, aka Noreen, at Benidorm“, he wrote.
“One of the most beloved characters on the show and certainly one of the most beloved actors. Elsi’s acting abilities and comedic genius were so natural that they were almost taken for granted,” Litten added.
Kelly’s other credits include the role of gossipy cleaner, Mrs. Tardebigge, in Crossroads.
She also appears in the 1996 film Intimate relationships after taking a break from watching television.
However, she quickly made a return to the small screen, starring in series such as Skinsas well as the lead role of Joan the Cook in the 1996 adaptation of The famous five.
