Buckingham Palace ‘reacts’ to Prince Harry’s chaotic turnaround during family visit

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming visit has caused a lot of chaos at Buckingham Palace, with Sussex’s office yet to provide a response.

Until last week, Harry was prepared to bring Meghan and their two children to the UK, but within 24 hours the decision was thrown into doubt when RAVEC refused police protection for the family.

King Charles still maintained the offer of royal accommodation at Buckingham. Royal experts noted that Harry created total chaos for a visit that could have gone much more smoothly if he had simply communicated directly.

After a full week of deliberations, it appears Harry has confirmed he will travel alone as the security risk is too high for his family. Still, the Palace is awaiting a response from Harry as it is hoped the family will be able to join him on the final part of the visit.

A royal source cited by The mirror noted that this is “incredibly frustrating given that arrangements must be made to allow any guest of the King to accept an invitation to visit a royal residence”.

King Charles’ long-awaited reunion with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet is in doubt and royal expert and Majesty Magazine editor Ingrid Seward believes Harry is “behaving like a titular prince.”

She added that he behaves like “a spoiled celebrity rather than the king’s second son.”

Meanwhile, Charles is due to take part in a series of public engagements next week, but Buckingham Palace has made no comment on private family matters.
