It was his fifth technical foul of the season. When a player reaches his eighth technical foul, he is suspended for one game.

“Yeah, it’s ridiculous. I have a technique for clapping. So we should all look at the schedule now and pick a match that I’m going to be suspended for if I want to get techniques for clapping. (The referee) said I have a technique for clapping. If a technique is going to be taken away, it should be this one if it’s really for clapping. That’s why they said they gave it to me. So, it’s just ridiculous. I don’t understand that at all.

“I’m going to play with emotion. I’m going to play with passion. If they want to give me a technical foul for clapping, so be it. That’s their choice. The league can come back and rewatch this play and I’d like to hear what they say about why I got the technical foul in that situation and why the players on the other team didn’t get a technical foul in that situation. Instead, share. OK, everyone gets a technical foul. It’s not how they were distributed I would like to know.”

Indiana won the game 86-77.

Clark had 24 points, nine assists and three rebounds in the victory. This is the fifth consecutive game in which she has collected at least 20 points.
