Cardi B almost canceled her last concert Little Miss Drama Tour.
Hours before taking the stage at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, April 18, the Grammy-winning rapper jumped on her Instagram Live in the middle of an altercation with staff.
“I’m not playing today, let me tell you why,” Cardi shouts. “Because your employees are really rude for no reason. Pointing fingers for no reason. Touching people for no reason.”
“I’ve done 35 shows and I’ve never had a problem, and we’ve been nice to everyone. So no, now I’m leaving!” the rapper said before storming out.
However, Cardi spoke to X shortly afterward to clarify that she would continue to perform. “When you have power and authority, use it with kindness and respect. Never abuse it…because not everyone will tolerate your arrogance in silence,” Cardi wrote. “Treat others exactly as you demand to be treated. Atlanta…I’ll see you soon.”
It still took Cardi a while to calm down after taking the stage and she vowed to never perform in the arena again. “I’m pissed right now, I’m not going to lie,” she told the audience, according to videos captured by fans. “This arena has played a lot of games with me… Next time I’ll have my show in a fucking parking lot, bitch!” she joked.
