On Wednesday, May 13, the Grammy-winning rapper spoke to X to clear the air about a viral video in which she appears to yell at the NFL star.
“Sometimes I forget I’m a celebrity…damn, don’t you ever insult your baby when you’re hungry?” she joked.
The now-viral footage, captured by a passerby, appears to show Cardi yelling at Diggs during a public outing. Since there is no audio in the video, what sparked this apparent confrontation remains unclear.
Yet that brief moment quickly fueled another round of questions about the situation between the on-again, off-again pair.
A few days earlier, Cardi and Diggs turned heads at the Diggs Deep Foundation’s Mother’s Day wellness event in Washington, D.C., where they were photographed looking cozy and engaging in a little PDA.
