Omega, who is friends with Ospreay inside and outside the ring, slammed the poster.

“What’s wrong with you? It’s not hard to try to get lessons,” he wrote in response.

“A dear friend is recovering from a career-threatening injury, no doubt still struggling with pain today, and being sort of mocked and compared to a dude who was murdered. I understand a joke’s a joke, but those things really should be separate in my opinion.”

When an X user came to the commenter’s defense, Omega responded once again.

“Please apologize, sincerely. Maybe I became too sensitive after my brush with death. I also know Will’s behind-the-scenes efforts better than anyone, so it was sad to see such a harsh comparison,” the current AEW champion added.

Kirk, a conservative commentator and founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed during an event on the Utah Valley University campus in September. Tyler Robinson was arrested for Kirk’s murder.
