Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni is the latest to embrace AI.
Sirianni, 45, enters his sixth season as Eagles coach and is looking for ways to keep his message fresh. So the Super Bowl-winning coach turned to ChatGPT, even though he doesn’t know what all the letters mean.
“We created stories, things that people search for on ChatGP – fill me letters,” Sirianni said in June during a roundtable interview, according to The Athletic.

“What makes it cooler than what we did?”
Sirianni and the Eagles’ mantra is “tough, tough, together,” but the head coach wants to find new ways to deliver inspirational messages.
So, his message?

“Give me a relentless effort, a true sports story,” Sirianni wrote in the AI chatbot, according to The Athletic.
Sirianni then heard about an Arizona State wrestler born with one leg, Anthony Robles, who won a national championship in 2011. He planned to tell Robles’ story to the team to reinforce the same message through a different story.
Whatever message Sirianni chooses, it must be the right one. Despite winning the Super Bowl in 2024, the Eagles disappointed the following year, losing in the wild-card round while making headlines throughout the season for their disconnect.

While a Super Bowl win might give most coaches more leverage in other cities, Philadelphia operates differently. Doug Pederson was fired three years after leading the Eagles to their first Super Bowl title in the 2017-18 season.
A slow start from Sirianni could lead to him being on the hot seat in the fall.
