Emily Blunt’s daughters fully agree with the The devil wears Prada revival, and they did their homework before the sequel came out.
Talk to E! NewsBlunt, 43, revealed that Hazel, 12, and Violet, 9, who she shares with John Krasinski, only watched the original film for the first time about a year ago, largely because their friends became obsessed with it.
And the night before his speech, they went over everything.
“My kids saw it for the first time about a year ago, and partly because their friends really like it,” she said.
“And then my kids watched it again last night because they know they’re going to see this one soon, and they love it.”
Blunt and Krasinski have always been particularly private about their family life, keeping their daughters largely out of the public eye.
The girls weren’t impressed with their mom’s famous co-stars, until Ryan Gosling came along.
After seeing him play Ken in Barbie, Hazel and Violet were apparently beside themselves when Blunt worked with him on The fall guy.
“They never had any interest in the people I worked with,” Blunt said on Sunday session with Willie Geist in January 2024. “But Ryan is, Ryan is the one for them.”
Despite a busy schedule, Blunt is determined to be there for her children at the end of each day.
“Once my kids start finding me repulsive, once mommy no longer reigns supreme, I will, but I think bedtime is that essential anchor,” she said. TO CARRY review.
