  • Lego has just revealed a new Sandcrawler set themed to The Mandalorian Season 1
  • 1,683-piece set features a Sandcrawler with interactive elements

Alongside the Millennium Falcon, the TIE Fighter and the AT-AT Walker, the Sandcrawler is one of the most iconic vehicles in the vast Star Wars universe. And while we’ve seen plenty of Lego versions over the years, it’s been a while since the brick construction giant revisited the vehicle.

However, with The Mandalorian and Grogu now on the big screen and a host of new movie-themed products already available, Lego and Star Wars have teamed up for another set. And TechRadar can now exclusively reveal the Lego Star Wars Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn set.

Better yet, this Sandcrawler has a theme and details that match the same off-world vehicle seen in Season 1 of The Mandaloriangiving longtime fans of the Disney+ series a nostalgic return to some of Grogu and Mando’s early adventures.

The set is available to pre-order now directly from Lego for $199.99 / £179.99 / AU$329.99, and will ship in the coming weeks. For that price, you get 1,683 pieces to build the Sandcrawler, several accessories, a posable Mudhorn with its egg, and a handful of minifigures.

The Lego Star Wars Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn set includes Grogu with a hovercraft, the Mandalorian, Kuiil, an ancient Offworld Jawa and two Offworld Jawa minifigures.

The Sandcrawler itself is well detailed and has a few interactive elements, including a few Technic-style components. By turning the rear dials you can open or close the front hatch and you will build treads to allow you to move the vehicle.
