A Flydubai flight from Dubai to Dacca was forced to make an emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi on Friday due to a medical emergency.
The flight, GZ 501, landed safely at 3:20 am local time and was parked in Bay 21, according to spokesperson for Pakistan Airport Authority Saifullah.
The passenger hit, a Bangladais national, was immediately followed by the airport doctor and later transferred to Aga Khan hospital via an ambulance.
About two hours later, around 5:15 a.m., the plane encountered technical dysfunction. The 159 passengers were safely evacuated from the plane and taken to the transit fair.
A replacement cockpit team and a technical team were sent to Dubai to solve the problem.
Once the repairs have been completed and the necessary authorizations obtained, the flight resumed its trip to Dhaka at 1:21 p.m. local time.
