Foxconn has confirmed that it recently suffered a ransomware attack in which the company reportedly lost terabytes of sensitive information.

The attack apparently affected several facilities across the United States and even forced some employees to return to pen and paper for their daily operations. Others were sent home until the problem was resolved.
