Supergiant Games has announced that Hades 2 Will be a Nintendo Switch 2 switch exclusive to launch.
Hades 2 has been in early access for almost a year now and we have recently learned that the sequel to the Popular Rugilelike game will also go to the Nintendo Switch 2 when it is ready for a full version.
Now, alongside a new vocal video of a new designer presenting the game’s backstage development, Supergiant revealed that the game will be exclusive to the Switch and Switch 2 when it was released, but that it is still planned for other consoles and PC after launch.
Supergiant shared the news on X / Twitter, saying: “Although we do not yet have a date defined for Hades II V1.0, we can confirm that its console launch will be on # Nintendoswitch2 as well as the original nintendo switch, where Hades started.”

During the Nintendo Switch 2 direct last week, a bunch of other exclusives of Switch 2 were also revealed, in particular Mario Kart World,, Donkey Kong BananzaAnd Duskbloods.
We also learned that the console will be published on June 5, 2025, for $ 449.99 / £ 395.99 or $ 499.99 / £ 429.99 for a Mario Kart World pack.
