Top 4,200 flight disruptions at US airports: Here’s the full list of airlines affected by cancellations, reroutings and delays

U.S. aviation was hit by catastrophic conditions Tuesday, April 21, as three simultaneous crises hit the country.

The main reasons for this collapse are the collapse of TSA personnel, the oil shock caused by the war in Iran and weather restrictions.

According to live data from FlightAware, total worldwide delays reached 8,845 on Tuesday, with 675 delays occurring within, arriving in, or outside the United States.

The total number of cancellations worldwide stood at 421, of which 28 occurred on or affected flights departing from U.S. airports.

San Francisco International Airport became the epicenter of the disaster, with 475 delays and 69 cancellations after the FAA issued weather-related flight restrictions. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta, Boston Logan and JFK International were the other most affected airports.

There are only 60 days until the start of the FIFA World Cup, and the TSA training cycle lasts four to six months.
