How to watch America’s Cup 2026/27: free streams, yacht racing schedule

The 2027 America’s Cup cycle begins in the Gulf of Angels, off the coast of Sardinia, for the first of the preliminary regattas. Although the four-day meeting in Sardinia does not count towards the America’s Cup match itself – which is scheduled for July 2027 – it will offer the clearest indication yet of where each team stands.

Since all eight teams are racing on identical AC40 yachts, which are smaller than the AC75s that will feature in the America’s Cup proper, they compete on a level playing field, where skill, strategy, teamwork, human error and human excellence will determine the outcome.
